Terms of Use

By installing or using Cairn, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cairn on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

What Cairn is

Cairn is a focus app that interrupts access to selected apps with brief stacking-stone and puzzle rituals. Cairn uses Apple frameworks such as Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings, StoreKit, and local notifications.

Cairn does not block emergency services, system apps, or any content Apple does not allow apps to restrict through public frameworks.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • Monthly and yearly Cairn Pro plans are auto-renewing subscriptions.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
  • Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions.
  • Lifetime access, if offered, is a one-time non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple ID and restorable through the App Store.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Cairn, reverse engineer it except where allowed by law, interfere with App Store purchase systems, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

Not medical advice

Cairn is a focus and productivity tool. It is not a clinical product, medical device, therapy service, or substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a licensed professional.

Disclaimer

Cairn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that blocking will work on every iOS version, device, configuration, or third-party app.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cairn Focus and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using Cairn at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region of residence, except where local law requires otherwise.
